Your Wedding Day
Perhaps you need help to get your wedding plans started or have lots of ideas, but are too busy to give it much thought? Even if you intend to plan your own wedding but would appreciate some specialist advice, whether you need help finding the right venue, photographer, cake, flowers or unique finishing touches, advice about etiquette or help to solve a planning dilemma, in an hour or two with Helen she’ll give you all the advice you need.
The first and most important thing to do when planning a wedding is to find the perfect venue. But where do you start? During an initial meeting with you, I will seek to understand precisely what you envisage and will help you to identify and fine tune your criteria. Once I understand your requirements, based on the type of ceremony you'd like, the number of guests you'll be inviting, the budget you have in mind and the overall style of your ultimate day, I will carry out the necessary research on your behalf. I will then supply a shortlist of options for you to consider.
If you wish, I will also accompany you when you visit the venues, assist you as you make your final selection and negotiate on your behalf.
Planning a wedding can be a daunting task, especially considering the number of people you may need to contact in order to find precisely the right cake, photographer, catering, stationery, flowers, entertainment etc. My standards are high. Extremely high. I will only ever recommend suppliers who I know, like and trust and who I believe will care about you. Furthermore, my valuable connections might even afford you special advantages which are not necessarily available to everyone. Because I always pass on any supplier discounts directly to you, you can expect that little bit more.

On the day.
It is your wedding day. Wouldn’t you like to relax and enjoy every moment? Absolutely! But who will take care of every minor detail? Whilst you’re busy being perfect hosts, who will handle any last minute glitches with the venue, caterer, photographer, florist, cake-maker or musicians?
Even the best-laid plans need to be managed – so why not relax and enjoy yourselves with a personal ‘wedding concierge’ to check every detail and make sure everything falls into place?
I will meet you three to four weeks before your wedding, ideally at the venue, to discuss and walk through the details. I take time to understand exactly what you want and how much help you need.
I then make contact with all the suppliers involved, making sure they all know what to do and when, and deal with all their last minute questions. In readiness for the day, everyone involved receives a detailed itinerary so you and all your suppliers know precisely where they need to be and when.
On the day, I will be there to make sure everything is exactly as you want it to be and I will be the main point of contact for everyone involved, leaving you free to enjoy every single moment, with the confidence that comes from knowing an experienced and professional wedding planner, who knows exactly what you want, is taking care of everything.
